Some top entrepreneurs will be on hand to share the secrets of their success with ambitious start-up owners at the Business Accelerator Conference, which takes place in London in September.
The aim of the Company Shortcuts event, organised by entrepreneur Lara Morgan, and author Nicola Cook, is to leave attendees “inspired, energised and armed with new skills to drive profitable sales growth”, according to its hosts.
Speakers
Some of the nine speakers include:
Mike Clare – built Dreams into a nationwide brand with over 200 stores, and subsequently built up an impressive property portfolio via his Clarenco LLP business.
Judy Naaké – introduced the St. Tropez tanning brand to the UK, and masterminded its sales strategy.
Lara Morgan – founded Pacific Direct, which provides toiletries to luxury hotels, and sold her majority share for £20m. Lara now concentrates on her angel investments, which include Gate8, which we featured recently on Company Bug.
Malcolm Durham – provides high-level finance, sales and HR experts to companies on a part-time basis, via Flexible Directors Ltd. Malcolm was the youngest finance director of a listed company, aged 28.
